Haunting Adeline Read Along Part 1/9

We are looking to try something new. Recently both Deidra and I buddy read Satan’s Affair, the prequel novella to Haunting Adeline. Now we would like to go on a journey with you all and share our thoughts as we read. Tonight we tackled the prologue and chapters 1-3. Myself in a paper back book, and Deidra on the Kindle app.

We both had some very similar thoughts and observations after having read the prequel. We’re very excited to see Zade again, and also to meet Adeline, and explore the story that unfolds in her beautiful, gothic manner. I find her great grandmother’s diaries to be very intriguing, andI want to know about the ghosts she’s made reference to. Deidra has been intrigued most by Zade and shares a similar passion for his disdain of those he disposes of.
